SWISS MADE QUALITY

All Swiss Military Hanowa watches are Swiss-Made. The Swiss cross in the logo bears witness to the high Swiss quality standards upheld by the brand. The timepieces are water-resistance from 5 ATM up to 20 ATM (marked on the back of the case) and made with stainless-steel cases, with the majority of models also equipped with sapphire crystal and luminous hands and indexes.

All movements are sourced from leading Swiss manufacturers, something that is vital to the brand ethos. Every watch component is meticulously inspected by specialists prior to assembly and specific electronic equipment is used to detect the slightest defect. Quality control procedures are in place of every stage of the production and assembling process, ensuring the integrity of all materials used.

Ensuring that every watch that comes out of the production performs optimally, Swiss Military Hanowa subjects each and every watch and movement to rigorous testing methods.

THE MOVEMENT

Swiss Military Hanowa uses only Swiss made quartz or mechanical movements from leading manufacturers in Switzerland.

WATER-RESISTANCE

The water-resistance of each Swiss Military Hanowa watch is marked on the case back.

STAINLESS STEEL

The cases and metal bracelets of Swiss Military Hanowa are made of high-grade steel which is in accordance with the strict standards of Swiss watchmaking. The advantages of this material are its high corrosion resistance and excellent durability.

IP PLATING

Swiss Military Hanowa uses on some of its timepieces the leading Ion-Plating (IP) surface coating technique resulting in superior surface hardness which is more scratch-resistant.

LUMINESCENT HANDS AND/OR HOUR MARKERS

Luminescent hands and/or hour markers on the dial are a standard feature on most of the Swiss Military Hanowa watches. Safe luminescent material is used to grant readability also in the darkness.

LEATHER STRAPS

Swiss Military Hanowa leather straps are made of refined, high quality genuine leather.

SAPPHIRE CRYSTALS

The majority of the Swiss Military Hanowa watches feature a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Sapphire crystal is one of the hardest substances, rating 9 on the Mohs scale (diamond rates 10).
